Riverdale School Block 1 Alterations

The Riverdale School project comprised extensive internal alterations and additions within Block 1 to enhance and modernise existing facilities. The scope of work included demolition, new concrete slab installation, timber framing, insulation upgrades, and the complete refurbishment of classrooms, support areas, and an accessible bathroom to meet current Ministry of Education standards. Additional works involved roofing and internal guttering upgrades, new joinery, comprehensive painting and decorating (including Autex finishes), and the installation of contemporary mechanical and electrical systems.

Given the live school environment, Colspec implemented comprehensive health and safety controls to ensure the protection of students, staff, and visitors. Secure fencing, clear signage, and proactive communication were maintained throughout the project to minimise disruption and uphold a safe working environment.

Through meticulous planning, strong collaboration, and a commitment to quality management, Colspec successfully delivered a high-standard upgrade that improves the functionality, comfort, and long-term performance of the school’s learning spaces.
