Shane O'Brien
Managing Director
(NZCB)
Shane is the Managing Director of Colspec Construction whose job includes client liaison day to day governance, quantity surveying, work programming and contract procurement. Shane has been in the building industry for 36 years and has owned/managed his own business for 32 years.
Steve Hirst
General Manager
(Advanced Trade Certificate)
Steve is the General Manager of Colspec Construction. His job includes project, staff and office management, health and safety, quantity surveying, programming and subcontract co-ordination. Steve has been in the building industry for 36 years and has been with Colspec for 27 years.
Hamish O'Brien
Quantity Surveyor/Project Manager
Hamish joined Colspec as a Cadet Quantity Surveyor in 2006 after spending a year working on-site and is currently studying towards his Diploma in Quantity Surveying. His job includes quantity surveying, project management, programming and subcontractor co-ordination.
James Blair
Cadet Quantity Surveyor
James joined Colspec as a Cadet Quantity Surveyor in 2011 and is currently studying towards his Bachelor of Construction. His Job includes quantity surveying and assisting site managers.
John Cruden
Site Manager
John has over 25 years of experience in the building industry and has been with Colspec since 2009. His position involves site management, health and safety on site, co-ordination of Colspec staff, co-ordination of sub-contractors and programming.
Stuart Lind
Site Manager
Stuart has over 42 years of experience in the building industry and has been with Colspec for eleven of those. His position involves site management, health and safety on site, co-ordination of Colspec staff, co-ordination of sub-contractors and programming.
Dan Giles
Site Manager
Dan joined Colspec in 2005 and is a carpenter by trade. His position involves site management, health and safety on site, co-ordination of Colspec staff, co-ordination of sub-contractors and programming.
Accounts Manager
Accounts Manager
The financial accounts are handled off site by a contracted accounts consultant.
Rebecca Knight
Reception / Office Administration
Rebecca is our Front of Office person. She is responsible for the efficient running of our office, liaising with clients, staff, and sub-contractors. She provides friendly, helpful customer service. Her role includes accounts and payroll.
