Shane O'Brien

Managing Director
(NZCB)

Shane is the Managing Director of Colspec Construction whose job includes client liaison, day to day governance, financial management, quantity surveying, work programming and contract procurement. Shane has been in the building industry for 40+ years and has owned/managed his own business for 38 years.

 

Hamish O'Brien

General Manager
(Dip Quantity Surveying)

Hamish is the General Manager at Colspec. He joined Colspec as a Cadet Quantity Surveyor in 2006 after spending a year working on-site. Steve Hirst

Technical Manager
(Advanced Trade Certificate)

Steve is the Technical Manager of Colspec Construction. His job includes project, staff and office management, health and safety, quantity surveying, programming and subcontract co-ordination. Hayden Earl

Senior Quantity Surveyor
(Dip. Construction) (Dip Quantity Surveying) (Trade Certificate)

Hayden is our new Senior Quantity Surveyor. He joined Colspec early in 2018 and has 10+ years experience in the construction industry. His original qualification was in Carpentry before attending further study towards Quantity Surveying and Construction Management. Andrew West

Contracts Administrator/Cadet Quantity Surveyor
(B.Sc)

Andrew is the new addition to the Colspec team joining recently in September 2017.  His roles requires a close working relationship with each member of the QS team to ensure that we deliver each project at the consistently high level we set. Janine Chittock

Accounts Manager

Janine joined the Colspec team in April 2017 and has fast found her feet within the role. The financial accounts are handled by a team made up of Janine and an off site contracted accounts consultant. Dan Giles

Site Manager

Dan joined Colspec in 2005 and is a carpenter by trade. His position involves site management, health and safety on site, co-ordination of Colspec staff, co-ordination of sub-contractors and programming. He is an integral part of our company and manages some of our larger and more complicated projects. Dan's leadership and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently are vital skills that are extremely valuable in our Colspec team. 

 

Gareth Andrews

Site Manager

Gareth joined Colspec in 2014 and is a carpenter by trade. His position involves site management, health and safety on site, co-ordination of Colspec staff, co-ordination of sub-contractors and programming. His involvement in some of Colspec's larger successful projects demostrates his ability to deliver on each project he undertakes. Gareth's leadership and ability to get the most out of his team is a huge asset to our team.

 

Stuart Lind

Site Manager

Stuart has over 42 years of experience in the building industry and has been with Colspec for eighteen of those. His position involves site management, Health and Safety on site, co-ordination of Colspec staff, co-ordination of sub-contractors and programming. Stuart's knowledge of the industry and his ability to immerse himself in every project he undertakes, makes him a massive asset to our team.
