Driven by the need to remain efficient and the introduction of Health and Safety regulations, management of the company recognised the need for Quality Assurance.

It is fine to have a manual prepared for such policy, but without taking ownership, these documents are quite often not taken on board. To this end, Colspec has worked with a Wellington based consultancy company to develop a comprehensive Quality Assurance programme for our company.

As our staff are directly employed, there is a strong accountability in the concrete/carpentry and related works. The systems we have in place provide for plenty of overlap (supervision) leaving little room for errors and omissions to occur. Emphasis is put on communication being a key ingredient and to this end, mobile phones, faxes and vehicular transport are provided without question.
