The Factory

This project consisted of a café and entry upgrade to the communal staff kitchen and café that is in the heart of The Factory, formerly known as the Bio Commerce Centre or BCC Building. It also comprised of new office upgrades and strengthening works to the new openings in the existing concrete walls.

This was a delicate project that required a substantial amount of planning with the client. Some 12 months plus of planning went into this project to ensure thatthe end result would future proof the building for years to come.

The Factory houses multiple business so completing the sometimes noisy construction was staged and managed to ensure that disruptions to the tenants was kept to a minimum. This meant some early mornings and late nights for our team and huge thanks goes out to them and the subcontractors who all worked together on this project to create this special place.

We are extremely pleased with the end result and really enjoyed working with the client throughout the entire construction process.
