Massey - Riddet 10

The new Riddet 10 building at Massey University is an architecturally designed extension to the multiple science blocks in the heart of the Massey Campus. Riddet 10 was a technically difficult build as it amalgamated five of the surrounding science blocks, acting as the main artery between the buildings.

The project involved restricted access to site via Riddet Road and was built within the live university environment. Elements included extensive curtain walling and specialist floor finishes. The project included both wet and dry research laboratories with adjoining temperature control rooms. Within this new hub was also internal landscaping and the boulevard canopy feature.

Our team worked extremely hard to adapt to changes throughout the project and delivered the result to a very high standard. The project was completed to the required standards required for the laboratory facilities and expected from Massey as a leading New Zealand education provider.
