Shane is the Managing Director of Colspec Construction whose job includes Quantity Surveying, client liason, day to day governance, work programming and contract procurement. Shane has been in the building industry for 35 years and has owned/managed his own business for 31 years.

Steve Hirst
General Manager
(Advanced Trade Certificate)

Steve is our contracts manager. His job includes quantity surveying, site and staff management, programming and subcontract co-ordination. Steve has been in the building industry for 35 years and has been with Colspec for 26 years.

Stuart Lind
Site Manager

Stuart has over 41 years of experience in the building industry and has been with Colspec for seven of those. His position involves site management, co-ordination of sub-contractors and programming.

Dan Giles
Site Manager

Dan joined Colspec in 2005 and is a carpenter by trade. His position involves site management, coordination of sub-contractors and programming.

Nicholas Chapple
Senior Quantity Surveyor

Nicholas Chapple is our Senior Quantity Surveyor, with an Advanced Diploma in Quantity Surveying. After working with a major firm in Wellington, he moved to Palmerston North and joined Colspec in 2001.

Hamish O'Brien
Cadet Quantity Surveyor

Hamish joined Colspec as a Cadet Quantity Surveyor in 2006 after spending a year working on-site.

Alpha Hunt (AT)
Accountant
(National Certificate in Business Studies)

Alpha has been a member of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1995. Before joining Colspec at the beginning of 2003, Alpha worked in public practice as an accounting technician.

Peri Chapelle
Operations Manager

Peri joined Colspec in 2005 as Operations Manager. Included in this role is the management of Colspec’s Health and Safety programme. Peri previously worked for Massey University.

Kate Robinson
Payroll / Office Administrator

Kate is Colspec's Front Line Manager. She is responsible for the efficient running of our office, liaising with clients, staff, and sub-contractors. Kate provides friendly, helpful customer service and her duties entail payroll and accounts administration.
